'Tis the Season of Giving: Our Recent Charity Work for Molly's Wish

Paralympic gold medalist Heather Frederiksen-Walmsley MBE and her husband Paul have launched their charity appeal Molly’s Wish at Wigan infirmary. Molly’s Wish is named after their daughter who received life-saving treatment at Wigan Infirmary after being born 6 and a half weeks early.

Molly suffered life-threatening conditions and after receiving vital treatment at the Wigan neo-natal unit she was able to return home in full health. The appeal is raising funds for the Three Wishes hospital charity which will go towards essential equipment for the department that will help other children in Molly’s situation.

Molly’s Wish is our chosen charity at Winstanleys Pramworld and this year we have taken steps to fundraise for the cause, which will continue into 2016. Pramworld employees are working incredibly hard to raise as much money as possible for the neo-natal unit, especially in the run up to the Christmas period.

This December we supported several wonderful charities raising money for important life-saving causes, including Save the Children, Three Wishes and Molly's Wish. We organised a sponsored charity walk from St. Helen's to Wigan and enjoyed swapping our staff uniforms for festive jumpers as part of our in-store Christmas charity weekend.
