Review of the UPPAbaby Minu Duo

Posted by Lucy on 28th Oct 2025

I was extremely excited to receive the UPPAbaby Minu Duo! Having two under two, I’ve been on the lookout for a good quality, compact yet durable double pushchair since my second little girl was born in March 2025. We’ve tried quite a few prams - both doubles and singles, so I was very happy to give this one a go and add it to the mix! The review is based of our experience over a month …

First Impressions

From the start, the delivery and customer care were excellent. The team answered any questions I had and the delivery was speedy. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how compact the box was - I could easily lift it and set it up on my own.

Folding to Stand

The fold mechanism on the pram is unlike any I’ve had before. You simply unclip and lift, then fold it down one-handed to a standing position. It’s honestly so quick and smooth.

Getting the Girls In

Getting the girls into the Minu Duo was far less stressful than with previous double buggies I’ve had. The harness is super quick to adjust to each of their sizes with no rethreading needed, so they’re both comfortable, secure, and safe.

Each seat allows up to 22kg per child, which means it’ll grow with the family - from birth through to the toddler years. That’s a big win for us.

Size & Fit

We’ve managed to get through every doorway we’ve tried so far! At only 73cm wide, it fits through most standard doors, which makes outings so much easier.

Suspension & Ride

I’ve definitely put the shock-absorbing, all-wheel suspension to the test! Living in a rural area, this was one of my main concerns. The Minu Duo really held its own though.

It’s not marketed as an all-terrain pram, but it handled rough gravel roads, grass, and woodland paths much better than I expected.

Recline & Comfort

One of my favourite features is the one-handed deep recline for both seats. Unlike other prams I’ve had, the Minu Duo reclines and sits upright with ease-you just press a button to lie flat and pull a strap to bring it back up.

On other prams, I’d find myself on my hands and knees trying to lift the seat and tighten a stopper, so this design is a total game-changer!

A Small Downside

If I had to be picky, I’d say that because the harness is fixed, the stroller will only work with our UPPAbaby footmuffs, and it’s quite hard to find more affordable footmuffs for the colder months. That said, UPPAbaby sells their own, and they’re honestly worth it; the girls stay super cosy in them.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the UPPAbaby Minu Duo. The attention to detail really makes life with two children so much easier, even down to an AirTag pocket (perfect for Disney trips!).

Out of all the doubles we’ve had, this is by far our favourite. And to my partner’s delight, I can finally stop pram hunting!
