When you start to shop for your first pushchair one question we always ask is what kind of lifestyle do you have because finding a stroller that is perfect for you will ultimately make the transition into parent-hood that little bit easier. To go hand in hand with this, finding a stroller that fits into your car will allow you and your little one to travel stress free knowing you can easily get from A to B without a single hitch!
If there is one car that we are always asked about, it has to be a Fiat 500 and although we have come to know that certain prams will fit into the boot of this tiny traveler, we wanted to help all you mums and dads out there and create a list to help you in choosing your pushchair.
At this point we must say that this is not a exhaustive list of all strollers but we chose 11 of our favourites and tested them in the boot of a Fiat 500 to give you a good starting point on the search for your pram.
If you’re looking for a stylish, practical and sturdy pushchair then the iCandy Peach could be the one for you. This stroller fits really well into the boot and there is even some space at the sides for any other essentials or shopping!
The iCandy Orange is one of the largest strollers we tested and as you can see its fits really well. This travel system is great for a growing family as it offering the ability to convert into a double too for your growing family!
One of the best fits we found had to be the Bugaboo Cameleon and as you can see from the picture, the way this stroller will sit flat in the boot leaves lots of space for other essentials too!
Beautifully stylish with excellent attention the detail the Egg is a great fit in the boot of a Fiat 500 and although one of the bigger strollers it was simple and easy to get out of the car.
The award winning Cosatto Giggle was a good fit into the Fiat 500 and if you’re looking for a head turning stroller this is definitely the one for you! Due to the length of the chassis, this was one of the more difficult ones.
A gorgeous stroller from Cosatto (we love the Fjord colour!!) and an amazing fit in the back of a Fiat 500. Lots of space for everything baby and more!
Another Amazing fit and definitely one of the best we found. The Scoot is one of the most compact strollers that we tested and as you can see it fits like a dream!
So there you have it, 7 amazing pushchairs that are sure to give you a good starting point to find your perfect stroller! As mentioned at the beginning of this post we did actually try 11 altogether including the Silver Cross Pioneer, Silver Cross Surf, Joolz Day 2 and Stokke Xplory and unfortunately we were not able to fit these strollers into the Fiat 500.
Please also note that for all of the strollers that were able to fit, the back wheels were removed with their quick release function. This is super easy to do and the wheels can easily be slotted back on once getting your stroller out of the car!
