Stokke® Tripp Trapp® Highchair - a timeless design that lasts for generations
The Tripp Trapp® chair was created in 1972 by designer Peter Opsvik, inspired by watching his young son outgrow a traditional high chair while still being too small for an adult chair. Determined to find a solution, he designed an adjustable chair that adapts to any age and size, supports an ergonomic sitting position, and remains comfortable throughout growth. With its distinctive and unconventional design, the Tripp Trapp® quickly became a timeless icon that endures to this day.
Adjustable seating height & depth
The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® is uniquely designed with adjustable seat and footrest height and depth, allowing it to adapt seamlessly as your child grows. The seat plate can be raised to bring your child to the correct height at the table, ensuring elbows rest comfortably at table level. It also adjusts horizontally to suit your child’s size, supporting an ergonomic sitting posture with the recommended “two-finger” gap between the back of the knees and the seat plate. Meanwhile, the adjustable footrest provides a stable platform that encourages natural movement and weight shifts while seated. Altogether, the Tripp Trapp® offers the ideal position for eating, playing, and socializing at the family table.
Made of solid sustainably sourced Oak wood
This Stokke® Tripp Trapp® chair is crafted from solid oak wood, responsibly sourced from central Europe in accordance with sustainable principles. Oak is renowned for its exceptional strength, durability, and natural beauty, with a distinctive grain pattern that gives each chair a timeless character. Its robustness makes it an ideal material for furniture built to last for generations. Each chair is finished with a premium-quality coating that enhances the wood’s surface, protecting it from scratches while ensuring the Tripp Trapp® is easy to clean and maintain.
Multimode usage
The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® chair can be used from birth with the specially designed Newborn Set, which serves as a comfortable lounger up to around 6 months. As your child grows, it transitions into a proper high chair with optional accessories, such as the Baby Set, Tray, Cushion, and Safety Harness—all of which can be removed as they become unnecessary. Built for lasting use, the chair continues to support children throughout their development and even into adulthood, with a maximum weight capacity of 136 kg/300 lbs.

Easy to assemble
The Tripp Trapp® set includes everything needed for quick and easy assembly. Inside the box, you’ll find: 2 wooden legs, 1 wooden seat plate, 1 wooden foot plate, 1 wooden base crossbar, 2 curved wooden backrests, 2 metal crossbars, 10 metal screws, 6 metal nuts, and 1 Allen key.

We may use a third-party warehouse to fulfil some or all of your order. Our third-party service may opt to utilise another delivery carrier/service (at no cost) to ensure that your order is with you as soon as possible or as a result of carrier item size/weight restrictions. Should your order need to be despatched from multiple warehouses, we will endeavour to arrange that your items arrive with you on the same day. Please note: In this instance you will receive multiple tracking numbers.
We will keep you up to date of when your order is on its way and the carrier will send you a text/email on the day of delivery so you know when to expect your order.

DPD Predict Service
Never miss a parcel delivery – for orders sent via DPD you will be notified by text and email on the day of despatch and again on the day of delivery offering a one hour time-slot. If you’re unavailable during this time you have the option of re-arranging your delivery date, or for your delivery to be left with a neighbour.
Download the DPD Predict app and nominate a specific neighbour, your chosen safe place or collect the parcel from your local DPD pickup shop. Please note that a signature is required for all DPD deliveries.
Direct Deliveries from Supplier
Where a product states direct delivery, this will be fulfilled by the supplier directly from their warehouse. Each supplier has a different delivery service. Please contact our sales team on sales@pramworld.co.uk for any queries regarding direct deliveries.
Provided lead times are best estimate at the time as provided by our suppliers and are measured against a standard working week and do not factor in national holidays.
Please note that we can only deliver furniture to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. We are unable to accept orders for International delivery.
Panther
Some of out heavier/bulkier products are fulfilled through one of our Logistics partners - CuddleCo/Kiss Logistics via a Panther Carrier Service. You will receive delivery communication as “CuddleCo”, your information will only be used for the fulfilment of the order.
Parcel Forwarding Service
For delivery outside the UK, a number of our customers have used forward2me, the top-rated Parcel Forwarding Service. forward2me offers a choice of premium courier services including DHL, UPS, DPD, TNT & Whistl to forward parcels to over 200 countries at very competitive prices.

Posting and Packaging
Here at Winstanleys Pramworld we operate a recycling policy and frequently re-use original packaging to ship brands or products that are different to those that appear on the original box. If you receive a package that has a different brand or product on the box other than you are expecting, please open the box to determine if the product is incorrect. Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items in with larger items - please double check the contents of the box. Opening your order does not affect any returns.

What if one of the items in my order is out of stock?
If you have multiple items in your order and one of the items is currently out of stock, your order will be dispatched to you once all items are in stock. If an item is marked as out of stock what does this mean?
When a product is marked as out of stock on our website, it means it is temporarily out of stock cannot be dispatched right away but is on order with our supplier. Upon receiving your order we will contact you within 24 hours to advise an estimated delivery date.
Can I change my designated delivery day?
Yes. If you wish to select an alternative delivery day please give our Sales Team a call before 4.00pm on the day your order was placed. Once our courier DPD has collected your parcel(s) from us you will receive an email and/or SMS text message containing a link to DPD's website that will direct you to the tracking information for your order, enabling you to check its progress, location or even change your delivery day.
