Order information
 
When will my good(s) be dispatched?
Our aim is to dispatch orders, placed before 2pm, on the same working day. This means that you should receive your order within 24 hours. Please note we do not dispatch or deliver goods on Saturdays, Sundays or Public holidays.
 
What if I don’t want to order online?
First, we’d like to assure you that our on-line ordering process is completely secure. But if you would prefer not to order via the web then you can:
  • Phone us on 01942 214864 (9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Saturday, 11.00am - 4.00pm Sunday)
  • Fax us on 01942 205463 (Remember to give us your phone number so we can call you back if necessary)
  • Post us your order. Please send Postal Orders payable to “Winstanleys” to 725 Ormskirk Road, Pemberton, Wigan. WN5 8AT. (Please note that we no longer accept cheques as a method of payment)

What will the postage charge be?
All orders over £49.99 have free postage and packaging to Mainland UK (excl. Highlands) only except where indicated in the product details. Orders under £49.99 will be delivered to Mainland UK
(excl. Highlands) at the flat rate of £4.99. All orders to Ireland, Highlands and Islands* are charged at a flat rate of £8.95. All orders to the Channel islands are charged at a flat rate of £19.95. Orders to Western Europe can be placed on-line - we will then contact you to confirm shipping costs. Please Note: We do not ship orders outside of Mainland Europe. Do your prices include VAT?
All of our prices include VAT at the standard UK rate. Orders to the Channel Islands are supplied VAT free.
 
How do I know if the item I want is available?
Our website uses a live stock system so you can order 'In Stock' items in confidence. Items showing 'stock due' means we have an order confirmed by the supplier. Out of stock items are usually supplied within the timescale specified although we are at the mercy of our suppliers and cannot guarantee these timescales. We will let you know if there is a delay in sending out your order as soon as we can.
 
How accurate is your website?
We have done everything to ensure that the descriptions of the items on the website are as accurate as possible, however we cannot be held responsible for any real or perceived discrepancies of products from their descriptions. Descriptions are constantly checked and verified with our suppliers for accuracy.
 
Which couriers do you use?
Our UK Mainland deliveries are sent by our 24 Hour DPD Service, between 9am and 9pm Monday to Friday. (excluding Bank Holidays) Orders received by 2pm will be dispatched the same day, if later than 2pm, orders will be dispatched the next working day. If a mobile phone number is given during the order process, on the scheduled day of delivery, you will receive notification of a 1 hour time-slot for delivery. If you are unavailable during this time slot, you will be able to arrange delivery via SMS Text message. A signature is required for all DPD deliveries and items cannot be left without a signature. Please note we do not dispatch or deliver goods on Saturdays, Sundays or Public holidays. European deliveries are sent via TNT and take 5-7 working days.
 
What if my consignment is damaged or short delivered?
All shortages and damages must be reported to us in writing or by e-mail within 7 working days. Please sign for all deliveries as 'unchecked'.
 
Can I Return my item(s)?
We have a flexible returns policy and will accept goods back if you've ordered the wrong item(s), or if you simply find them unsuitable. We only ask that you return goods unused and packed correctly in their original packaging. Please contact us before sending items back so we can issue you with a returns number. Please remember to enclose your name, address, telephone number and email address, and reason for returning the goods. 
If you are returning unwanted goods you are liable for the costs incurred in returning them.
Please Note: All goods collected by our courier will incur a minimum charge of £15.00 per box. If you are returning faulty goods this charge will still stand and will only be refunded when said goods are confirmed as faulty by our customer services department and within the manufacturers guarantee.
 

My goods are faulty, what shall I do?
Please contact us before returning goods as many problems can be solved before items are returned. If the goods need to be returned, a repair, refund or replacement will be offered depending on each individual case. Please contact us before sending items back so we can issue you with a returns number.

Packaging and Recycling Policy

Winstanleys Pramworld operate a recycling policy and frequently re-use original packaging to ship brands or products that are different to those that appear on the original box. If you recieve a package that has a different brand or product on the box other than you are expecting, please open the box to determine if the product is incorrect. Opening the product does not affect any returns.

Cancellation Rights
Any order can be cancelled in writing (email, fax or letter) within 7 working days of receiving your order under the Distance Selling Regulations. Postage costs involved in returning cancelled orders are at the expense of the consumer and are detailed in the section above ‘Can I Return my item(s)?’ This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
Winstanleys Privacy Policy
We will not pass on any details to any other parties. We may occasionally send you notice of special offers by email. If you do not want to receive these emails from us, please send an email to nooffers@pramworld.co.uk.
 
Online Security
We take online security extremely seriously and have taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately. Winstanleys and Cybertill use secure servers where information is protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard encryption technology. This encryption protects your details and it impossible unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us. We have made online shopping secure and easy. We use Visa and MasterCard Secure anti fraud protections schemes in our industry. If your credit card issuer participates in the scheme you will be asked for your online password to verify your transaction. If you have yet to register for this scheme, don’t worry your card issuer will either ask you to register during our checkout process or in another future transaction. In summary, you can be sure that we have taken every step to ensure that your online ordering is safe and secure.
